IE 6 not displaying wesite on line
I am using IE 6 for websurfing.Now IE6 is not displaying any website when I am on line I get message "Page Can not be displayed." I tried to reinstall/repair/uninstall IE 6 and could not do this I get message as under;
" cannot uninstall Internet Explorer 6.Either the uninstall information is missing or the information has been corrupted."
In the circumstance please guide me how I can overcome this problem.
My system details are as under:
Mercury Mother Board.
Intel(R) pentium 4 CPU 1.60GHz
1.61 GHz
256 MB RAm
40 GB Seagate HDD
Samsung DVD Combo drive
LG 48x CDrom drive
OS:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional version 2002
Service Pack 2

What kind of Internet Connection do you raghavendra? Maybe its the Firewall in SP2?

I use dialup connection.After installing SP2 IE6 was working fine allthese days.yestarday I used one spy/addremover software and this is the result.i have since uninstalled that spy/add software.should I now uninstall SP2 and again reinstall it. pl advise me.

You cannot uninstall ie in xp. Run "sfc /scannow" from a command prompt to check for missing/corrupt files. Also check the settings for your dial-up connection, particularly the dns settings (if required by your isp).
