Do you have a a lump on your back of your head?
Hi there,
I'm just asking around if you got a lump behind your head? Not muscle or anything, but your actual skull. I though a human skull should be rounded? I don't know why, I seem to have one and I was wondering if it's normal. Be seruious, peoples, I'm kinda worried. Maybe it's the cuase for all my light headaches and tiredness. I might check with the doc, but before I go there, better ask if anyone have the same condition as I have.

My advice is to go see the doctor. Then you'll know for sure what's going on and you'll either a) find out it's nothing and feel better, b) have whatever it is taken care of quick and feel better.

Human skulls are all sort of weird shapes, very few are anything near a uniform round. In fact, there are people out there who claim to be able to read the bumps like palmprints.
Long as it's not like mine with a great big ridge along the back from an old fracture, I wouldn't worry

I have a lump on mine. Its right about where the strap on a ball cap is, when I wear one. Its always been there.
I also have a ridge on my forehead about at the hairline. I use it to break boards.
Yes, I am normal...sort of

Lots of people have irregular (sp?) skulls...............is it the actual bone of the skull or does it feel like it is between the skin and the skull??
Either way..........go see a doctor. You're probably freaking over nothing, but better safe then sorry..............I watched my wife lose her sister to a brain anyerism (sp?) a few years back, and since that I think that a trip to the doc's is worth the time anytime u suspect something wrong!

If it's like this

then worry.
Otherwise a quick trip to the doctors will assure you that all is normal!

I've always had a bump at the base of my skull, almost central where you'd follow the line of the spine. I've also had a benign Sebacious Cyst nearby for decades, as 3fingersalute mentios, this is smaller, softer and beneath the skin.
If this is something you didn't have before, check with a doctor, or as others have said, just for peace of mind.

One day I noticed that right behind my ears, where the earpieces from my glasses sit, I have indentions in my skull from wearing glasses for so long.
About your lump, if you're worried about it go see a doctor...
