If it's a POP3 account, why not just set up a rule in either Outlook Express or Outlook to forward all incoming mail to your new address??

other than having to have outlook or OE open all the time that would work.

If you don't need to forward all your old emails - don't - that's pretty simple! They shouldn't have forwarded simply by creating a rule based on NEW email. The rule should only forward new messages as they come in, but like mentioned above, OE or Outlook must be running for this to work.
You may also want to check with whoever hosts your old email address, a lot of POP3 providers also have a web interface for your email, and most of them will allow you to set a mail forwarding address, so the mail server takes care of the forwarding.

Isn't this a thread worthy of moving to the Tech-to-tech forum? I mean really, bringing a technical question into the lounge...it's truly despicable!
