    That's just terrible. How crappy an illustrator do you have to be to not be able to depict Florida as a punching bag but instead have to tell the reader/viewer that it is a punching bag. That's like telling a joke and having to explain the punchline so the people you are telling it to can "get" it.

    Uhm, the first winter would depopulate the state. Lowest I ever remember here was 28f, and that was just for a few hours.

    Indeed. Check out the temps up north right now.
    BTW:
    It's cool to joke about yourself or your state every now and then jae. Lighten up man. Hey, join the fun. When most of them are freezin' their collective butt's off in a month or so, they will think about down here and probably take a chance on a hurricane or ten themselves.

    Shorts on Christmas...when the winds are blowing, and the trees are uprooting all around...I think of wearing shorts at Christmas...

    I haven't warn long pants in years! I still have like ten pairs of jeans waiting to be cut off. Ya do need long sleeve shirts a few times a year though.
