Add logo to outbound mail

I have a customer who wants to send out their company logo to certain recipients on e-mails, I know it can be done as I've received e-mails from companies that do this.

Question is what's the best way to do it? Bear in mind I have zero programming skills, I've just tried by creating a HTML signature but it didn't display the logo just the infamous red cross, I'm guessing it's by using some kind of template, so how to do it is basically the question....

Errr, sorted it chappie here knows how to do it....

EDIT: Scratch that.... we've set up a new template and that works great, but requires a lot of clicks to get it to use that template, so I had the idea of using a new stationary item....

But it only displays the image as a red cross.... so 2 questions...

1. why won't the jpg image show on the stationary
2. How do you set a default form?

You stated HTML was used. Check the sorce code.

red x means that the recipient cannot find the file for the JPEG

You can do one of two things.

Attach the file, Post the file on a Web Server and display it with the Img src HTML tag.

What software are you using to compose the email?

I can give you a better idea of the proceedure if I know that.

Hey Gizmo, it's not even getting as far as the recipient, as soon as I do a test message it displays the red cross. I've tried using Word, Front Page Express and Front Page full version to set a HTML page to use as stationary... it just won't display the jpg picture, I've modded the security settings etc and I can paste the jpg into the message, but not create a stationary by default.

I have found a way around it, I created a template and saved it as an oft file, if you double click it opens with the information in it. Customer seems happy as he only wants to do it now and then, not all the time. But I would be extremely interested in knowing an easier way..... when you explain with all the HTML source code/programming side of things, treat me as a complete user... most of its double-dutch to me
