King of the Mermaids
The Sims Series...
I just dont get it...
I acutally played both.. very briefly, for about an hour max. I just dont get it...
Can someone fill me in on why this game is so popular?
The sims online I can almost understand, seems like a virtual cybersex hangout to me... maybe im wrong..

Well,.. until CoH came out,.. I thought Sims was the greatest thing since sliced bread (or something). But not it's just plain boring. The main thing that is appealing about the Sims (based on what I have heard) is that people like to play "god".

Well, I don't qualify for that position so I let God play God..
So I think I'll stick to CoH and Freelancer.

I'm with ya, but my wife just loves it . . . . though she'd rarely played in the last 19 months since the baby came.
it was fun for me for about an hour. once I had killed a couple off, made them pi$$ themselves, turned them gay, and had them burn down their house, I was pretty much over it.
she could play for hours upon hours though??????
I guess to each his/her own though. . . . . I don't think she could stomach even a minute of madden 2005
