I am sure he moved to Hawaii because of the powerful Pakalolo there, which has likely rendered him too, ummm, spiritual to play NFL Football.

I bet he has gained some weight by now, unless he is surfing every day or something

Yeah, having to pay back all that money must be a pretty strong motivator.

I wouldn't take him back. The guy's proven he's only about money, and has no love for the game, plus he basically screwed their season single-handedly. I'd suck it up and go 0-16 and tell him to go pound sand just to prove a point.

Besides, even if he did come back to them, he's got all sorts of stuff he has to deal with. There's no way he steps onto a field this season.

Agreed. Funny how this "change of heart" came about after he learned he'd have to pay back 8.6 mil. Yeah: feck him. I wonder if anyone else would want him after this?

Oh, I'm pretty sure Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder would quickly snatch him up - the guys that think their team are just a few big paydays away from a Super Bowl. Al Davis would probably love to see him in a Raiders uniform too, seeing as the Raiders is pretty much the NFL's collection of mentally unbalanced players Ricky would be a perfect fit.

Personally, I hope the NFL tells him to go screw himself and doesn't let him play EVER again. There are lots of guys out there with talent that never get a shot at the big time, and to see someone like Ricky Williams just piss it all away and only come back because he needs/wants the money makes me sick. Let him go play in the arena leagues.

I'm sure if he does make it back, fans will DESPISE him, and let him know it. Especially Miami fans.

I was thinking about the Raiders, too. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

All but the fans for whichever team he ends up on.

He will never be on a championship team. No matter what team he goes to, his teammates will not fully trust him and put 100% effort while he's on the team. It doesn't matter how great a player someone is, if he's a complete buttmunch that is hated by the entire team, the team will never succeed. See Barry Bonds and Ted Williams.

I don't think Ricky should be let back into football.
