remote desktop quirk
hey,
i'm using the remote desktop client on a windows 2000 pro workstation to remote into my servers, but whenever i do all the printers installed on my workstaton are installed on the server. the problem only exists on that computer, which hapens to be the only one using windows 2000 and RDP. i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced something like it, and if a solution has been found. i was unable to find any documentation of the problem so far.
Thanks

You mean, the printers associated with your user account are transferred into your Remote Desktop Connection session?

before you connect click on options and on the 'local resources' tab uncheck the printer mapping option.
if you're connecting to a win2k server the settings on the server may override the rdp client settings, and must be changed on the server.

You could try it with RealVNC (http://www.realvnc.com/).
