My favorite mix is alternating ball ammo with Hydro-shocks, so I have the optimum load at least 50% of the time. When I score a hit, I want them to fall down, not just punch a hole through them. 
don't blame ya there squid, I have a .357 too that I love due to raw power, but it's too damn big to carry. - this 9 is a very small gun, and real easily concealed. I love 45's

Actually, yeah, I am from PA - central PA, and permits to carry are not hard to get here at all.
I used to make some trips to Philly in my youth (if ya_know what I mean), and I can see why handgun permits are easy to get down there.
