[RESOLVED] Defrag error 009
When trying to run a defrag on a W98SE PC it stopped at 10% complete with an error ID No: DEFRAG009. It said "Your computer does not have enough free memory to defragment this drive. Quit one or more programs, and then try defragmenting this drive again."
It is 6 Gb drive with 4 Gb free. The only program running (in Close Program - End Task) is Explorer.
Any help appreciated.

That's what Microsoft says:
<a href="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q229154" target="_blank">http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q229154</a>
I would use a third-party software like Norton SpeedDisk. I really hate MS-Defrag!
