 Question 363 - RESOLVED
Starting easy...
Professor Bumble was going on a lecture circuit for several months and he asked his friend, Hardy Pyle, to watch for a certain letter he was expecting.
The problem Hardy faced was that Bumble had a mailslot and forgot to leave him a house key. Hardy sent Bumble a letter to inform him of his dilemma. Bumble immediately sent a key to his house by return mail.
This being the case, why wouldn't Hardy be able to honour Bumble's request?

The key would have been delivered through Bumble's mailslot and Hardy would have the same problem as before.

Question 364 - RESOLVED
Justin Summers walks up and down a hill which is six kilometres for a round trip. His dog being slower, walks at half the speed.
When Justin reaches the top of the hill he turns around and walks down meeting his dog part way. Justin continues walking to the bottom of the hill at the same speed. The dog follows him, also maintaining his original speed.
How far does the dog walk?

Four kilometres.
When Justin reaches the top of the hill, he will have walked three kilometres, and his dog will be half-way up, or a kilometre and a half. Justin then turns around and walks back, but his dog continues walking up the hill until they meet. They will meet at the two kilometre point. The dog will turn around at this point and follow Justin down the hill completing a four kilometre stroll.

When he reaches the top, he has walked 3KM and the dog 1.5KM, he walks 1KM back down the hill and meets the dog, who has now walked 2KM. The god turns around and walks with him, 2KM X 2 = 4KM
