Question 365 - RESOLVED
If you were blindfolded and placed in front of a large bowl containing 50 pounds, 20 pounds, 10 pounds, and 5 pounds notes, and you were allowed to take one note at a time until you have taken four notes of the same denomination, what would be the largest amount of money you could draw?
__________

You could take 3 - 50 pounds's, 3 - 20 pounds's, 3 - 10 pounds's, 3 - 5 pounds's, and the last note would be another 50 pounds note."

If you can add that in with the answers right off the bat, we'll avoid having to split up 1 pt for the answer and 1 pt for the explanatino afterwards.

If you took 3 of every bill until you had 3 off everything, you would have 255 poundsand then if you happened to grab another 50, you would end up with 305 pounds total - this would be the largest amount possible.

You're referring to the year I spent looking for a job, right?
Yeah, I landed a sysadmin position for a national company (govt funded) a year a go in December.

Hence the reason I didn't say anything. Although you would probably dock a point if it had been me.
