    Resolved [RESOLVED] PCI Steering

    Does any one know how to disable PCI steering. Could save the life of my system! Thanks

    Device manager, System devices, PCI bus, IRQ steering. Turn it off.

    I turn the stupid PCI Steering off and on reboot it turns itself on
    DO I have a virus or is Windows a POS

    Go into BIOS setup, where it says "PnP OS Installed", change it to NO, change "Reset configuration data" to YES.
    Restart, in safe mode, remove 3 or 4 devices from device manager (modem, sound card, and com ports usually works), go down to system devices, PCI bus, IRQ steering, disable.
    Restart.

    Also make sure you disable ACPI in the BIOS as well.
