need help with keyboard and mouse
i am looking for some ideas with a keyboard and mouse error. my dumbass buddy left his toshiba satellite laptop in the rain and wanted me to fix it. the problem is when i start to load any os, as soon as windows loads the enhanced keyboard driver, the keyboard and mouse stops working. is there any way around this problem other then buying a new keyboard? by the way, i have tried using a usb and then ps2 mouse and keyboard and both of which died as soon as that goddamned driver gets loaded. any help?

Welcome to windrivers fubar. If the laptop was left out in the rain, the keyboard and mouse drivers are likely the least of your problems. You could have any number of components that are shorted, damaged, etc. You're lucky it starts at all. My recommendation is to bring it to an authorized toshiba tech and see if it can be salvaged at all.
BTW, please do not post the same question in more than one forum.
