Ok you guys caught me. The truth is I WAS a huge Ashlee Simpson fan. I watched her tv shows for the last few months and really dig her. Her songs touched me, it was like she was singing about me. Then to see that fiasco on SNL, well I was crestfallen. My new idol is the chick drummer from the White Stripes. Her drumming is absolutely horrible and when she sings it's so bad that you just can't understand why she's even singing. I guess my point is that it's pretty obvious that she's singing herself because there's no way they'd record something like that and play it for people.

I've long suspected that many bands on SNL use pre-recorded stuff. It sounds too good. I've been to loads of concerts. I've never heard a live show that sounded closer to the album version than SNL performances.

Can someone please tell me why an unfamous father with two no talent daughters is on network TV being interviewed? They obviously have naked pictures of someone very important or they know where Osama Bin Laden is hiding out. Those are the only two explanations that make sense.
