Don't forget to vote...
Hi there,
Since this election will effect the rest of the world... Don't forget to vote. It's your rights, your freedom and wahtever you believe in. Win or lose, hate it or not, just do it...
And hopefully, the mistakes 4 years ago won't happen again...

Hi there,
Well, I feel that there isn't many peoples voting at all. I heard that they will be a big turnout this year, but it's still a small % compare to every single person that can vote in a country. That's the problem...

That's the result of the Electoral College, and not a popular vote. I haven’t voted since Bush Sr lost to Clinton in 92...
One vote, one voice, it's a crock!

How you can not vote & then have so much to say on politics ?
Admittedly 'first past the post' is a really stinky way to do things, & then when you add in all the anomiles for representation of numbers of folks & states in the current set up, then it 'double stinks' - but its the only 'choice' you are currently gonna get ! ..
The US situation on 'electoral practice' is like ours, with the main parties fundamentally opposed to anything (like Proportional representation for instance) that might give the other guy a better chance - 'sod' that any new system might be 'fairer' sadly !

You sir, are wrong.
I admit that in some cases that your vote may not seem like it means anything but it can and does. Take for instance my home state of Pennsylvania. The state is split 50-50% in favor of either candidate. My vote could be the one (almost literally) that elects either candidate. Further, since my state is heavily populated we control a good deal of electoral votes.
So, one person could cast the ballot that put one guy over the top in my state and thus over the top for the whole nation.

So huh ? .. you tell me I can't vote (which most surprisingly - I already know) - & then you urge me to vote for George ? - you need grammar lessons more badly than he does
All I wanted to say was 'make sure you vote' same as inferno_gn, am I not entitled to opinion either ?
