RESOURCE.FRK -- what is it ??
anyone know? i have a user who's ADAMANT about knowing what this file does.....
damned users...

<IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> To generalise, it's a 'fork' file (hence the .frk extension) created by the MacOS. It contains stuff like file system info etc. about the app that created the file.

I have seen that show up on many PC formatted disks that I have used on Macs. Deleting it doesn't seem to affect anything, but it will appear again if you use the disk in the Mac again.

what's weird is that the machine in question has had NO contact with any MACs....
