Michael Moore Last Night
It was great, he pissed the republicans off so bad that they left the room as we chanted the "na na na na goodbye" song. I dont think I've ever seen someone who get a crowd pumped like he did

Let me guess, you payed for this...
That's as bad as paying for tickets to F911, and then buying the DVD...

Michael Moore is a pansy.
What he should have showed in Fahrenheit 911 is the actual death toll rising while Bush was reading to the kids.

Yeah because what Bush should have done was fly around the Earth backwards, causing time to reverse. He could then fly to New York and stop the planes from hitting the towers.

I love this book. I especially love the fact that it's sitting on the shelf at work and nobody is buying it, while Moore continues to have six books and two DVDs actually selling in our store, including two books still on the bestseller list at the same time...

That the sillier the fiction, the better it sells?

You know, here is the timeline of the President's activities on the morning of 9/11. You be the judge.
On a personal level, I think he showed remarkable restraint in an environment that could have turned into chaos if he said anything. The small 2nd grade classroom was filled with 16 students, 150 reporters and dozens of school and White House officials. If he had abruptly got up to leave, the room would have descended into a media circus.
That said, there were NUMEROUS failures on the part of the Administration that morning. These failures range from frequent communication outages to confusion over who was in charge in Washington. The FAA was completely oblivious to the threat posed by Flight 93. The audio tapes of the teleconferences that morning between the FAA, air traffic control and NORAD made it seem like the FAA people were like deers caught in the headlights. They were in complete disbelief that after they thought all planes were grounded there was still 4 planes not accounted for (one of which was making a beeline for the White House.)
Worst of all Dick Cheney attempted a cheap and dirty power grab by arguing with the President over returning to DC. He eventually convinced Bush and the Secret Service to take AF1 to Offutt AFB, HQ for NORAD. Colin Powell was stuck on a 10-hour flight back from Peru. With the #1 and the #3 men in the adminstration up in the air, Cheney orders fighters to shoot down Flight 93 if necessary, a power legally reserved only to the President.
