OMG did i go too far?!?!?!

Ok so i went to my local computer store and i wanted to but a new pwr supply for my new vid card and i also have a TV tuner/ FM tuner card , i also get some braded IDE cables some new thermal paste and some extra new quite fans. Hmmmm i get home right. Of course i start this late. So i start i take out CPU and all put in new paste then i clean out all dust. Then it happened the power supply doesnt fit right. hmmmmm now the normal person would wait till tomorrow right ? not me. I look over at my computer desk and ihave a cabinet that has two opening doors , like all normal desk to put software/books in. Ok i have always wanted to put my computer in there. So i grab a beer and begin. Now i pulled the mother board cdrom hd a:\ all cables lights switched (power and stuff). ALL IS PULLED CASE IS EMPTY! (so is my beer brb)...... Ok not i am thinking to myself what the hell am i doing ??!?!?! Well i had to stop and my room look like a bomb hit it. Stuff is EVERYWHERE. Now the motherboard doesnt have to be grounded to metal right ??? I am going to sit it on wood and when i close the front swinging doors nothing should hit it (i am also going to built a lock for it so others dont mess) if you think of it as a box. I am going to have 2 fans sucking IN air from the left over the MB and then have 3 fans to the right at the other end of the MB sucking the hot air out from the top. The pwr supply will also be in the cabinet all the way to the right so min the heat let from it. CD-rom DVD a:\ are going to be out on a seprate shelf that i am going to make under the cabinet and the HD is going on the cabinet on top of the PWR supply. Its hard to think so im going to get my dig camera and post a pic or two . But like i said before the MB should be find on wood right ?

now the right door is take off so it was easier to drill. But what i am goign to do it drill out all holes for the vid card/tunder card and MB so the plugs are exposed and that i can plug stuff into them. Also i am cutting it close so there arent gaps in betweem (i dont want too many dust bunnies in there). But if you see in the pic the fans sucking in air and going to be on the right in deeper behind the ati card so all the heat from the CPU (and also heatsink) is quickly swept away to the right then above (on right) by the pwr supply the air will then be sucked up and out through the top where i am going to mount fans. I figure that would be the best plan of action to keep the air flowin normally. Any thoughts ?

Sweet dude! Great job!

Be careful with that TV Tuner card... one wrong move and you can short a lot of stuff (not that I know from experience or anything, heh heh).

dont congrats me yet man. Tomorrow is when all the work is going to be done. Yeah i was sorta careful hold the MB and cards and such and i also do use a grounding wrist strap when working in side or on board to help. Tomorrow is just going to be alot of work ! I am afraid

First you need some picture resizing software....

then you should just go back to the store and exchange your PSU before you ruin something
