    I've got a 1997 vintage Tosh here, P120 with 24 Mb RAM and 1.3 Gb disk. Still runs just fine, despite assorted abuse. I think that speaks well of the build quality.

    Which ever Toshiba you end up getting, just remember to extend the warranty if possible.
