vnetsup error 6107
Hi,
I turned on my computer today and it said
something like .....
vnetsup error 6107
then a screen popped up saying that i should restore my computer.
the problem is i didnt back up my files,. is it to late to do this? i dont have a cd-r
any suggestions?
all help is appreciated,

Been a while since Ive seen that one, but from memory, you should be able to go into your networking properties, and remove TCP/IP, reboot, and re-install TCP/IP, and the error should vanish.
Like I said, its been a while, but that should fix you up.

This is usually referring to you need to run a back up of your registry.

I dunno about restoring the whole thing.. I remember occasionally having to remove related vnetsup items from the registry, and the re-installation of TCP/IP would usually restore un-broken keys, but if they were not manually removed, occasionally they would not be repaired.
