Windows98 - Registry Damaged
Hi All.
I have a Win98 PC (Celeron400,64MB Ram) that at boot runs the Windows Registry Wizard. This informs mer that there is a problem with the registry and that it has restored a good copy and to press any key to reboot.
The problem is that is always brings up the Windows Registry Wizard ..... If anyone has come across this or knows of a way around the Windows Registry Wizard please let me know ASAP --- this is driving me to drink <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

First of all, try this command under DOS:
scanreg /restore.
Have you checked the memory?

might be a silly question but you are shutting down correctly?
have you done a checkdisk (scandisk) of the HDD lately?
