    Angry 98se dialer popup

    On several of my client computers, when they try to access a folder or opens my computer,suddenly the dialer of their net connection is poped up.
    the only way that i found to disable it is to cancel the automatic dialing in the options of the explorer.
    any workaround ?

    It sounds like they're trying to connect to a remote host.

    Make sure the clients have no mapped network drives outside their LAN. Run an up to date virus scan (although a pop up DUN box is a little unsubtle for a virus)

    See what scheduled tasks are set up for the clients.
