McAfee Quick Clean - have you used it?
My cousin took my advice and went out and bought new anti-virus software. She was not successful in installing it, so she dropped off her computer and new software for me so I could do it for her. Instead of just getting the anti-virus software, she got a bundle. One of the items in the bundle is McAfee Quick Clean. Here's a link to McAfee's description of what this does:

My cousin has basic computer skills. The idea of her deleting stuff either by herself or through an automated process such as Quick Clean scares me. Does anyone have experience with this product? To me, it looks like a complete waste of money and an invitation for disaster, but I have never used it, so I could be wrong. What do you think? Thanks.

Well, I'm sure McAfee would have at least some idea about what's going on. Just set it up to run in the background on schedule, if she bought it might as well use it. But from the sounds of it she could have got a similar program for free. I use www.ccleaner.com for doing approximately the same thing for free.
