Word 2003
I have 2 computers, both Word 2003. One of the user acounts on the machine, when they open a new document. it pulls up a previsioly created document.
I allready tried to remove there office application settings, and tried the hidden setting remover. Are there anymore ideas on this?
thanks,
zippy

Try deleting normal.dot in explorer in all templates and in the user profile templates.
I think a doc got saved as normal.dot in this case.

I am not sure, it looks like the defaults. I deleted all the templates ran the repair to replace them. But keep in mind that its only effecting the one user accout on that machine. I doesn't effect the other users.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????

My bad....
Its working now. I deleted the normal.dot, I deleted the wrong one before. I deleted the one out of the programs files, not the user templates.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
this is the file location where it was.
Thank you so much !!!
