ISA to PSI
Just purchased a new computer and found out in doesn't have a ISA slot for the isa card for my acer 310s scanner . Is it possible to get a ISA to PCI converter ??

dos,nt this scanner use a scuzzi card?
in which case you will need a cheap and chearfull one ,,they usualy come as 50 pin or 68? pin ,,

The 31os uses a SCSI card
Is a scsi card a scuzzi card ??
Would any SCSI card work ?? Not much of a hardward person so I need a little more explaination

Intel Mod
The Prisa 310s is a SCSI unit, but if I remember correctly it uses the old 25-pin connection like a printer port. I believe with an appropriate adaptor it will connect to a more modern SCSI card. But considering the modest performance and uncertain WinXP compatability of the unit, it might be better to get one of the economical USB scanners now available (eg Canon) at not much more cost than a SCSI card, and pass the 310 on with the old computer or try to find someone who wants an ISA SCSI scanner...
