IE Is Being A Freak

Have No Idea Why It (IE 5.5) Wants To Do It: Sometimes I Can See All The Images And Framed Web Pages On A Site And Then Suddenly I Can't See The Images Unless I Right Click To Show Images And Tha Framed Pages Simply Say Page Cannot Be Displayed In 2 Out Of The Frames On The Page. Sometimes It Shows The Home Page When I Start, Then It Will Not Show Any Other Page After That. I Have Done Evreything Short Of A Windows Deltree And Reload. Any Ideas guys And Gals? (BTW, There are No Internet Speed Optimising Programs On This PC, It Is My Personal PC And Has A T-1 Connection)

Have you tried IE6.0
Works great for most people and others not so well.
6.0 is perfect on my system, just an option.

have tried both versions. it started this about a week ago on 6.0 (have been running 6.0 since it was first posted in windrivers) then i reverted back to 5.5 today, still does it. it is doing this at this very moment on this response page. in the frame on the bottom i right click and it says under properties "cannot find server" and "unknown protocol". under the instant UBB code section, first image in the middle of that box: "http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum3/url.gif" for adding a URL, it says "unavailible"; however, when i right click and select "show image" it comes right up.

oh well, what the heck... it worked.

Been an Opera user since 1998 <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> and I absolutely love it. I only use IE5.5 when it is absolutely necessary!

Another convert - Welcome !

I use Opera at home too. Faster, safer, cleaner. No other browser can offer a multi-window interface.

Never understood why you had to spawn a different process for each new window in IE and Netscape.

Betcha IE will eventually incorporate a similar feature eventually.

Opera is great, it is a sleek, fast smooth machine. Just have 1 question:

how do i get windows streaming media or even quick time to plug into this critter? perhaps i shall start a new topic :sigh:
