Flabooble!
Angst
OK, anyone else get this?
I do tedious work and it's like pressure just builds up in my chest like I've had too much coffee or I'm too wired (not pain, nothing physical, just angst). If I keep plugging away at mindless figures I can actually get to the point where I can not type or move my mouse. Oh, nothing is wrong psycally, it's mental. I've no problem as long as things are chaotic and I'm fixing things but doing one thing over and over is like pulling teeth.
Heck is that???

I can fix computers all day and have a blast, but as soon as the phone rings and I hear someone whine, I hate computers and working on them. Is that the same?

If I do it right, yes.
I cannot stand the humdrum of routine tasks. I even turned down a programming job offered by one of my teachers back in the day, just because I couldn't see myself plugging away 8 hours a day doing that.

Does this have anything to do with "bit rot"? Like perhaps there is bit decay happening in your head ILTU?

I get really sleepy when I do tedious, repetitive tasks. I need the chaos also!
