    ess sound

    does anyone have the driver for 1983 s maestro-3i audio accelerator.got this info from aida32.i have no luck in finding them its for an hp omni book xe2.and the restore disk is lost.ess says its a dell chip.need for 98 se.

    would it make a difference if a dell driver was used?

    Have you tried it? I mean a chip is a chip is a chip.

    thanks slavedriver. got another question though.shouldn't game controllers also be there and a wave device for the modem?

    the only listing under sound video and game conrollers is: ess maestro3 pci audio (wdm)
