what is a card bus controller? is it specific to the card or mobo?

the card bus controller is for your pc card slots. it is specific to the motherboard.

can someone hook me up with a pcmcia 02 micro 026812 card bus controller.that number was in dev mgr.its a hp omni book xe2;according to aida32 the mobo id is DMI and mobo name is hewlett packard hp omnibook pc.
i've been to google and pcmcia sites.
