    Watford into the semis!

    I know this means absolutely jack to anyone on this site but me but I don't care.

    Watford reach the semi finals of the carling cup with a 3-0 thrashing of premiership side Portsmouth!

    That's why we support the little clubs, for times like this!

    Actually -ed, I think there's a UEFA spot up for grabs in the Carling Cup, if I'm not mistaken? Well done to Watford Gazz, looks like your season is just beginning at the same time ours has already ended!

    Unfortunately the only teams we are likely to face in the 2 legged semis are Man U Chelsea Arsenal or Liverpool!!

    'Actually' yer self ! - they only just changed it back again to give qualification to europe - from the FA's site (last season which was when they changed this back as for about 8 seasons I think there's been no qualification this route & that's why it was apparently dubbed 'mickey mouse' .).With the season about to reach its conclusion, we clear-up for you how the European places are awarded. .. Gary can get all excited if they (watford) manage to win their semi as whoever is their opponent should that happen will probably be qualified for europe by league place anyway & so even as losing runners up they'd qualify..
