[RESOLVED] Can't get online

Help pleeeaassse!!!!!!!Most of the time I can't get online but once in a while I can like nothing is wrong....now I'm up and will not shut this thing off...I get when I first log on D:/BOOTDISK/IMDUMP.EXE cannot be found make sure file exists on your system...I click that off then try to get online and immediately get TAPISRV has performed illegal operation INVALID PAGE FAULT IN MODULE RPCRT4.DLL at 016f:7010ba54 then also get DIAL UP NETWORKING INITIALIZATION CANNOT START-REINSTALL DIAL UP NETWORKING...after many hours on the phone with Prodigy DSL reinstalling DSL and Prodigy and tweaking all the connection settings over and over it still wouldn't connect then after a number of reboots suddenly it works....I know this is a long message sorry....any help would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

I gather from what you wrote that there is an attempt to read a file on your CD. I cannot tell at this point whether this is a ME cd or your ISP cd. I presume you must have that cd. Put it in the cd-drive and try again. If it works continue doing that. At any rate there is still something wrong in the installation of your software.

Thanks for trying but it has nothing to do with a CD...I've been surfing for three years with Prodigy....it is the cryptic...TAPISRV PERFORMED AN ILLEGAL OPERATION....any one knows what this refers to and how to fix it......help
