old wallpaper won't go away
Minor Problem:
I changed my wallpaper today, but when I rebooted it shows the old wallpaper as the background as I log in. After Windows finishes loading(Win2K, but I've seen this happen on 95 and 98 too) the new wallpaper is displayed.
I don't know why, but this is really annoying me today. Help would be appretiated. Thanks!

I think you have to login as the default user (press esc at the login box in Win9x) I don't know how you'd do this in NT/2000.

you have active desktop turned on.
right click on your desktop (anywhere), then from the popup go to active desktop and uncheck "view as web page" (just click on it once). once you have done this you can change your default background. if you want you can leave the active desktop option turned off. then only thing it does it allow you to save web pages on your desktop.
