    I get this message when I go to run Windows Media Player7

    Do you have Win98 SE installed? Have you tried installing latest Media player (7.1) with patches? If "Yes" to the above questions you can also try & delete your playlist file (*.asx) & create a new Playlist. Let us know if this helps.
