via/s3g unichrome igp driver
Hi i have a japanese computer named by sharp with dual os's, a japanese and english windows xp. When installing the english os, the windows could not locate the driver for my display card, however on the japanese os i located it as the via/s3g unichrome igp. I however did a search on the internet and have not been able to locate the driver any where. Any guidance and help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to windrivers babybro. The drivers are available from VIA http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2&Type=1 however you need to know which chipset you have. S3 Unichrome graphics were integrated into a number of different chipsets, each w/ a different driver. Either post the specific model of your computer, or download Everest http://www.lavalys.com/products/down...ng=en&pageid=3 and post the info from motherboard/chipset.

The driver is a new version released this week. I tried to download to see if it was corrupted at my end but the via site is slow as molasses right now. I'll try again later. You could also try the older version of the driver: http://www.viaarena.com/downloads/dr...Shld_Logod.zip

i don't understand. i downloaded this driver as well and it also said the folder is corrupted. which doesn't make any sense because i also downloaded the hypervion 4in1 and other files from viaarena and they all work perfectly except for this one.

Downloaded the file and unzipped the archive successfully here. What are you using to unzip? I used native xp, but if that doesn't work for you, try winzip.
