    LOTR exended edition

    is out today. 50 minutes of added features. Special edition gift set for the little woman and then 4 hours and 10 minutes of pure joy! WooHoo!

    Please tell me they didn't add on to the already way to long ending?

    i hope they did, but that would be the scourings of the shire, which would break up the ending making it not seem so long. Plus I want to see Merry and pippin show off the battle skills they learned while away.

    I don't want to spoil it so I won't go into detail. I only bought the 4 disk set, and it was well worth the money. Except for one thing where they took WAY to much license, imo, it made the movie much better.

    Even though I already had the theatrical version of the movie, I am glad I bought this one.
