2.5 drive as pc c drive question
Can a laptop hdd be used as a pc desktop master c:\ drive?
I have a 40 to 44 pin connectoralso have a usb ext closure
I want to load win 98 on the 2.5 drive that came out of a diagnistic machine
i thought that putting it in to a pc and doing the reload would work but i can not get the 2.5 to recognize on the pc desktop.

Are you sure pin1 on the connector is lined up with pin1 on the drive? Is it recognized in the BIOS?
