Quick video card question
Looking into buying a new mobo for my brother. He's got a Geforce 2 MX400 I believe... is that a 1.5 or 3.0 volt card? would it fit in with newer boards?

The Geforce2s were AGP2x/4x and will work in the newer AGP revision boards. It is only the 1x cards ya gotta worry about.

Agreed - but it is better to buy a new card. why sticking an old card inside a new computer?
The FX5200's and RAdeon 9200's comes very cheap those days
Cheers,
Gabriel

Normally I would agree with you, but my brother doesn't have any money, especially after getting presents for everyone. So I wanted to make sure that if I get a new mobo that the old video card should work with it so he doesn't have to go and spend money on a new card... actually my parents are getting a mobo and processor and I'm getting him 512 ddr 400 cause he's still using the old pc-133... I just didn't have anyone else to spring for a new video card for him...
