beeping windows???

Hi there I was working on a customers computer... put in a nic. it didnt work out. turns out i got a bad nic.... took the machine back here to figger it all out.... well got it all working but now there is about 8 to 11 beeps heard during the windows 98 splash screen.... other than that it is all ok.... just wondering what they ment and how to get rid of them.... I know about the error beeps that you can got during a post like if you didnt have a keyboard plugged in but i never heard them in windows

Windows is trying to initialize your secondary display driver. Make sure you only have one display driver in Device Manager and that your BIOS is setup to initialize the proper bus (PCI or AGP)first.
