    Well today got shot to hades in hand basket...

    I was supposed to attend two days of meetings starting this morning up in Barrow, but the whole plan has been put on hold for at least today anyway. The problem one ask? It's too frelling cold to fly!!! It's -43°F right now. The cut off is -35°F. The "high" today is forecast to be -30°F. If the temps rise I'll get out and attend the session tomorrow.

    WooHoo! The temps have risen so I'm out until late tomorrow afternoon or evening.

    Major, can you get a pic of thowing a cup of water into the air an watching it freeze or some other sort of fun? Would like to see.

    It works best with a cup of coffee, so you can distinguish it from the rest of the "ice fog".

    Only way to see it is to come on up here.

    Makes you wonder how the Eskimos did it before central heating.
