[RESOLVED] ATL.DLL & WMVCORE.DLL Error messages
I'm getting 2 error messages on my POS here at work. The first error message is "Can not run UNICODE version of ATL.DLL on Windows 95. Please install the correct version" The second error message is "WMVCORE.DLL File is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL: GETUSERDEFAULTUILANGUAGE" The first error message occurs when I open Outlook, Outlook Express and other programs. The second error message occurs when I open Windows Media Player 7. Has anyone ever seen these before? Any idea how to fix them? I'm running Windows 98SE on a Dell Dimension XPS M200. Thanks in advance for the help.

Do you have Microsoft Visual Studio installed on your machine? ATL.DLL is an ActiveX thing. Almost your exact problem is discussed here http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q166/4/80.asp
I had an error similar to your other one, and all I had to do was download the .DLL file from someone and copy over the one that was on my computer (back up the original of course). Try DLLSearch.com to find it. You might want to download ATL.DLL from there too. Good Luck
