My Great-Grandfather was born and raised in Scotland (Inverness) and did not come to the United States until late in the 19th century. He lived until I was 17 yrs. old (passed away at a 104 and kept a good mind to him until the last). I remember Gramps getting mad and going from his Scottish brogue (sounded like Groundskeeper Willie with marbles in his mouth) to straight Gaelic. We would have to ask my Grandfather (who was the 1st born in the US in 1900) what Gramps was sayin'. My Grandfather knew just enough Gaelic to know when to give his Dad a wide berth. I often wish now I would have listened more to Gramps and picked up more of the language. I recognize it when I see it or hear it, but only pick up a few words.
I only post using 100% recycled electrons!!!
Stay on the bomb run, boys. I'm going to get them doors open if it hair lips everybody on Bear Creek.

I have a nice orange nose

There's a pipe in my mouth
But nothing in it.
There's a scarf on my neck
And a broom in my hands
Do you know who I am?
I'm a big snowman!
