travan software
Does anyone know where I can download the software for a seagate travan model # stt20000a drive? I had a pc that was setup clean with xp pro but now I can't find the original disk. It is there in windows device manager but the windows backup utility doesn't show it as being available.
Apparently seagate sold this division and the company's site stinks to put it politely

Hi,
I find myself in the same boat as Trip here if not on the same voyage at the same time.
I am facing the "Disks? What disks? Were we supposed to keep all that stuff? situation" with a Gateway P4 box that came with a Seagate STT20000a ATAPI 10/20 Travan tape drive.
The re-installed OS recognizes the drive. But the OEM BU package?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Cool. I found this: http://forums.windrivers.com/vb/show...5381#post55381
Good old DonJ! Gives me an idea of what I should be looking for.
I found a bunch of Gateway disks hidden away. Must search through them.
