We need to remember not to perceive those temps as acceptible operating temps. The listed Athlon XP temps are close to 60 degrees Farenheight higher than the recommended max temp (straight from our AMD rep). Those are absolute max temps...most will start having problems way before they get close to the max temp. The max temp listed for the Athlon XP was 190 farenheight.
