Crappy websites
Does anyone else work for an Information Technology company that has a crappy website? I'm talking one page, zero links. The site consists of one small jpg of our company logo and that is it. No second page, no company address or contact info, just a simple picture (bad resolution to boot) of our company logo.
That said, if an Information Technology company had a crappy website like ours and was trying to get your business, would you even give them the time of day? Do you even care if the companies you do business with have websites that look like a kindergartner designed it?
I've been in a position where I decided on vendors and such and I wouldn't give a company like my own 5 minutes of my time after seeing such a crappy website. I've been stressing that to the bosses of my company, but we still have the same crappy site that is not even up most of the time I check it. Am I wrong to think this is such a bad thing?

They could be thinking, if they need your services, they haven't got a computer so the website is not important.... of course their offices would therefore be situated in cloud cookoo land....
