    Unhappy Dlink DI-624 wirelessG router turned off during reset, now hangs

    Hi guys,

    I accidentally plugged-on our Dlink DI-624 revc wirelessG router while the reset switch is pressed, now the the whole thing just hangs, meaning: the power,WAN/WLAN, and the four Ethernet ports LED are kept ON everytime I plug it in, only the Status LED is kept off.

    I tried resetting again, but nothing works.




    Need suggestions on how to proceed.

    Speak to D-Link.

    I had a different router that was out of warranty last year (by 3 months). After speaking to them and explaining the exact same problem (although I didn't reset mine with the power on) they offered to repair it for free.

    They were very helpful and kind to me so you never know.

    I will reflect that praise for the d-link tech support they are superhelpful. I have a614+ and have spoken with them several times. My prooblems not the equipment. I recommend you give them a call that is probably the best fastest solution.
