Remote Desktop Printing
I'm trying print across a Remote Desktop Connection. I get no error. I found this KB article, but it just says it should work. Nothing about if it don't. The client is running XP Pro with a OfficeJet 7110. The RDC server is also XP Pro. I loaded the driver for the 7110 on the server but it still didn't print.

How can I troubleshoot this?

You can route printing jobs from the remote Windows XP-based desktop to a printer that is attached to your local computer
Which pc is the printer attached to?
If you (on the remote desktop from your pc to the client) Start, run, cmd click ok
type in
dir >prn
does the printer react?
Can you pull up the printer status window... is there a print job in it when you try a test page?

The printer is attached to the local PC (VNC Viewer) via the USB connection.
I will try dir > prn
Thanks

I hooked up a old laser printer via the lpt port and it started working fine. I guess it don't like USB. I did'nt have time to investigate further.
Thank you for the reply NooNoo.
