tab missing??
the microsoft KB talks about Alternate Configuration for TCP/IP when the (in this case dialup) is configured to allow the server to create ip addresses etc. I don't
seem to have this option under networking tab. So, Im wondering if it is a special NIC that makes this possible and only for laptops.
Thx if someone can clear this up for me.

ok I found this in the connection LAN or high speed internet connection below the dialup connection in network places. What threw me was in the MSKB article they referred to the dialup connection. So that tab is in the former but not the latter.
