Laptop Hard drive not recognized
Hi
I was cloning a Toshiba 12 gig hard drive using d2d (drive2drive) software. It is not recognizing The above hard drive. It recognizes any other hard drive, but not this one. Can any one help. I really appreciate it. Is there any other software better for cloning. ---Thanks===========Prasadbeulah

when you say IT duznt recognize the drive do you mean the software or the machine itself? does the computer see the two hard drives? are the jumpers set properly on both hard drives? below is a link to a good free hard drive cloning program...you mite try it:
PC Insperctor Clone Maxx

You installed the drive (master is DEFAULT) on a chain with a master. Put it on a chain by itself and you should have no issues.
