Can't Remove Keyboard Icon
I have an icon in the taskar which allows one to change the keyboard layout. I did not put this here nor can I remove it. I have unchecked the box that says "enable in taskbar" and rebooted but to know avail. After typing MSCONFIG and looking at STARTUP, I see no mention of it.
How do I remove this?
Thanks!
Jeff

If you go to control panel, Keyboard, you have the "Input locales" tab. Remove all locales except "English (US)". You should no longer have the icon on your taskbar.

Or go to the same tab that Jay mentioned in his post, and uncheck "enable indicator in taskbar"

Thanks for the tips guys but I have done both of those things.
I had already unchecked the "Enable....taskbar" button and English is the only locale listed.
Hello to you, Dora, Alabama. I used to work at the Jack's resturant there many moons ago.
